Dirty tired Albuquerque Boys Choir zips quickly through states. We lose 5th gear on our way to Salt Lake City, so we slow down a lot and watch the Idaho mountains. Did you know that Idaho has a great flat swoosh of land in it that all used to be the Snake River?
Yesterday I woke up in Boise. The sun was in my eyes and a Great Dane was sniffing my face. We left early: sun dogs on either side of the sun were visible all day. We got to Salt Lake in time to combine wine and ice-skating. Then sleep.
Today we drove the heck out of Utah (a gorgeous place), peed in the woods in 4 ft snow, sang a little, drank a lot of coffee, and arrived in Durango, CO. Tonight we play the last show of the tour by a lake somewhere.
Then there is Albuquerque.
